Nicole always has nice things to say and is generally excited to see me . Being a veteran is not always easy , for the patient or the specialty referral office staff . I have genuinely received exceptional care and thoughtful responses to any and all concerns . I have said it many times that whether or not you are a veteran , medical care is the responsibility of the patient more than the practitioner in that we need to be active in our own care . Be inquisitive and thoughtful about ailments . Questions about what you can do is much better than friends and electronic guidance . I have been in the medical field for 23 years and seven of my nine family members are either BSNRN or physicians and my care through the VA has been exceptional . Riva Dermatology and Nicole Leahy PA-C have been far more than spectacular . Thank you Nicole !
