
Euphemia Mu, MD
Dr. Euphemia Mu is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic surgery. She is committed to providing personalized care for each of her patients through compassionate communication and long-term experience. Dr. Mu is passionate about practicing in Charlotte, NC, where she was born and raised.
A former valedictorian of Myers Park High School, Dr. Mu majored in Molecular Biology at Princeton University and graduated from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. After completing her residency at New York University, she pursued a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Mu has extensive training and experience in minimally invasive, tissue-sparing surgical removal of skin cancers and facial reconstruction. Since 2018, she has served patients from Charlotte, Lake Norman, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, and surrounding communities, performing over 10,000 skin cancer surgeries. She has published widely in the field of dermatology, including 19 first-author manuscripts and book chapters, seven oral presentations at national conferences, and three e-books.
Outside of work, Dr. Mu enjoys running, practicing yoga, playing tennis, and spending time with her husband and their two children.
